"Tomorrow’s Prices" is designed for day traders to predict stock market (and futures contract) prices one day ahead. These day-trader forecasts and predictions are obtained by fitting models of price movement to historic data, using multi-variable statistical analysis. The efficiency of the fitted models is then validated by extensive simulated trading. The technology is based on methods developed by Dr Bill Johns (currently of Chemcept Limited ) to analyse complex interactive processes arising in the chemical and nuclear industries.

Stock Market price movements are chaotic, like the weather. They can be forecast for a short time ahead, but longer-term forecasts become useless. Our analysis shows that it is quite possible to forecast prices one day ahead with a precision that is very useful to the investor. Thus, on most occasions, the correct direction of price movements is found, and it is also possible to accurately determine the probabilities of achieving specific price levels. For 2 days ahead, however, the forecasts are little better than random.

The forecasts are thus very useful for Internet day trading. To our knowledge, no better short-term forecasting method is available. This is somewhat of a break-through in the prediction of such price movements
